1. deegree 3 workspace configuration
In preparation of the 3.0 release, configurations have been reviewed and changed.
Configurations written for older 3.0 snapshots have to be adapted.
For further information take a look at deegree3/WorkspaceConfiguration.
2. PostGIS feature store
It is foreseeable to have relational mode and hybrid (rel. + BLOB) mode working soon (even for complex schemas such as INSPIRE data themes).
The PostGIS feature store is still under heavy development, but will be finished soon.
3. Oracle feature store
In order to have a timely 3.0 release, the Oracle feature store has been postponed to 3.1.
4. WMS
We were able to achieve some remarkable improvements in our memory feature store which gains us better performance.
5. WFS
Some improvements with regard to schema-valid output have been achieved.
E.g. a deegree 3 WFS configured using the INSPIRE schemas will now return GetFeature responses that can be validated (see InspireNode).
The DescribeFeatureType response will return the original schema instead of a generated one.
Therefore, a resources servlet has been introduced, which adds the possibility to link back to files in the workspace via http.
6. WPS
JensPabel is working on implementing a mapclient for the WPS.
This will allow for visualization of process descriptions and results in OpenLayers.
